About us
ALISEI is a non-profit association set up in 2013 on the initiative of the Ministry of University and Research.
The Cluster promotes and enhances research and innovation by networking the main Italian players in the sector - companies, universities, research institutes, innovation hubs, regional clusters and districts, science parks and the public and private health system - and by promoting international collaborations of the Italian Life Sciences ecosystem.

To promote innovation and research in the Life Sciences sector, to increase the competitiveness of the country’s system and improve the wellbeing of people in Italy and worldwide.
Governance
ALISEI's Cluster governance system is based on a Steering Committee presided over by a Chairman and composed of a Vice-Chair and three Commissioners.
Members
ALISEI brings together the main players in the Life Sciences sector in Italy: a network for the development of partnerships and the promotion of innovation.
Scientific board
Scientific committee is called upon to assess the scientific quality of the Cluster's projects and to support the Commission in its various activities in the sector.
